and an average hourly wage of $12.50
1. Studies show that manual totaling of time cards take approximately 6 minutes per card, per pay period. In this example we used a savings of 5 minutes per card, per employee, per pay period to determine savings.
2.. This factor relates directly to the mis-calculation of time when manually computing time cards. studies have shown this to be in the range of 1 to 8%. In this example we use a conservative factor of 1%.
3. Time theft is defined as extended lunches, breaks, tardiness, late starts, early departures, intentional missed punches, manual clock resets, etc. Our system recaptures this time theft based on programmed auto rounding and restrictions established by you and pre-programmed into the clocks. To calculate this lost time, we assumed a conservative 6 minutes each day (1/2 hour per week).
4. In order to simplify manual time card tabulations, minutes are often rounded up to the net quarter hour. In this example we use a conservative 5 minutes per employee, per pay period.
